Busy in her first gig and wondering what happened to all the frivolity.

I think an indie crowd varies. I have seen the head nodders and I have seen the crazy dancers. I like both, however I always think about this dance party called The Bang! in Ann Arbor when I think of indie kids. And those kids were crazy loving dancers. Fantastic.

I've heard that The Decemberists are great live and would have been upset with an inconsiderate audience, too. I saw Feist last weekend and they were good though I'm afraid that Feist is losing her voice a little. Still, she had a roadie tap dance and later made us all slow-dance like in the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. She said her dream is to be Marty McFly. Excellent.

As far as Wolf Parade goes, these songs are must-haves: I'll Believe in Anything, This Heart's On Fire, Shine A Light, and Dinner Bells. Good stuff.

My latest strangest find is The Langley Schools Music Project. It's ridiculous. It's a group of 60 kids in a gym in British Columbia in the '70s. They sing a bunch of rock hits, and I'd venture to say that their version of David Bowie's Space Oddity is better than Bowie's itself.

Not sure if any of this will make any sense.

Take care.
so i guess yesterday i became 23. feels like 22. :P
