K, sorry I've been neglecting you guys lately. All my end of term stuff seems to be spread throughout the month of April, so I've been pretty busy. However, I do have good news. I was nominated and accepted into our writing center's peer tutor program. I'll take a class about it in the fall and by the winter they will pay me to help other students with their papers. I'm pretty excited about it. Today, however, I need to find a job. I've been putting that off forever and if I'm going to stay spring term, (aka the first half of the summer), I am really going to need some money. I made a resume yesterday and today I'm going to distribute a dozen copies of it around town. I just realized I wrote about most of this stuff in my last post. Am I really that boring? Probably... ;o) Also, I've started to realize in the past two weeks that I'm slowly getting really homesick. I haven't been home since January 4! I think this is the longest I've ever gone...I want my cat, my family, and a break from cleaning up after people. I can't make it home til the 19th, but then I'm staying til the 22nd, so that will be nice. My mom told me we're going to the nicest brunch place we've ever been to. I can't wait; this is what's going to get me through finals. The anticipation of being home, dressing up, seeing everyone in my congregation in Skokie, and then stuffing myself to the point of discomfort with eggs, french toast, fruit, waffles, sausage, bacon, pasta, and I'm sure an amazing assortment of chocolate desserts. I know I'm weird, but you guys can handle it. :oP Hope everything is going well for all of you, good luck with finals stuff, and I'll hopefully see you in a couple weeks! :o)
