Oh man! I went to Detroit's "Taste Fest" this past weekend (think a much smaller Taste of Chicago), to hear some music and eat too much food. Anyhow, I had heard my friend Howard's band was playing, which I thought was pretty cool. I also heard that they were gonna have "Thunderbirds Are Now!," the crazy electronic indie punkish band that I have some mp3's of and that Jeff reffered to in a previous post. I had heard of them because in the somewhat unknown music scene, they're doing really well, signed and everything and word's getting around. So i'm excited to see them in person and then guess what?? It's the very band my friend Howard plays bass for! Wow do I feel out of touch...very cool realization, though. :oP

In the meantime. I'm averaging about one phone interview a week for a replacement internship. Looks like I'll be back in Libertyville for the last week of August, then arriving in NYC September 1st. Oh my oh my.
