Music Addict

Busy in her first gig and wondering what happened to all the frivolity.

I'm feeling restless. Had a great weekend in the Aran islands, off the west coast of Ireland. Some of the most beautiful land in the country, and I got to climb the ruins of old forts that existed thousands of years ago. A terrific night in Galway as well, hearing one of the greatest rock cover bands of my life and then talking to them about the Beatles.

But then I come back to Dublin and the people in my program get to me. I actually got made fun of today, in like a junior high or high school fashion. WHAT IS GOING ON Didn't anyone tell these people that all that juvenile "popular crowd" stuff died when we became semi-adults? Or was supposed to. I mean it's one thing for my friends to screw me over. I get sad/mad, we fight, we either stay friends or split up. But for someone who has never really spoken to me to start judging me based on what I wear, who I'm friends with, etc., is something that's always gotten to me more than it should and that I luckily haven't had to encounter for quite some time. I will not be this girl anymore...I can't decide if I'm madder that someone can still get away with treating people like that or madder at myself for letting an opinion that obviously doesn't matter get to me.

And this lack of contact with guys thing. What am I going to do about that.

Please ignore the complaints, really everything is great, but this stuff has been churning in me all day and it helps to send it out into the web. For whatever reason.

Happy 4th of July guys...hope all is well...g'night

well, now that you feel 100% better you don't need this but hey.

Some one that would do that, a cookie cutter trendy asshole, ther priorities are fucked. They need to dress a certain way, act a certain way, be friends with certain people to be able to feel good about them selves. You by not looking like them, not wanting to be friends with asshole, not acting in some certain way, you are going against what they are. You are indirectly saying what they put as a high prioritie is shit, ther for they don't like that. And to try and make them selves feel better, they try and make you feel worse.

They are in the wrong. If they don't get you, fuck'em.
